might be a silly questions but are deadlines based on the date when stuff is being postmarked or when it arrives at the admissions office?</p>
<p>Usually postmarked, though most things that are mailed don't absolutely need to be postmarked by the deadline (they give a little leeway for recs, etc. that you can't control).</p>
<p>thanks! i'll send it all in one package. applying to american colleges can be pricy for europeans..</p>
