Hey!

How lenient is Vassar when it comes to receiving school forms? My guidance counselor has been very busy this semester which results in the fact that she wont be able to submit the school forms before the deadline. Do you think it will hurt or actually ruin my application if the school report, transcript and international student supplement arrive a bit after the deadline? (probably about 2nd or 3rd of January).

Thank you

Vassar sent me an email last week that specifically stated not to worry if things come late, as long as the application is on time.

My counselor didn’t get my school forms in until a week and a half after the (EDI) deadline, and I was accepted…so it didn’t ruin my application haha. Admissions officers understand that what your teachers and counselors do is outside your control, so as long as YOUR portion of the application is in before the deadline, you won’t be penalized.

What about CSS and FAFSA? I submitted my Vassar App and Supplement 2 days ago but I didnt even start the financial aid (damn procrastination) and I’m about to have a panic attack because on the site it says that its due today.
