Are online application submissions still accepted today, January 1?

Yes! You have until 11:59 pm tonight!

I am trying to submit ED II, but common app. won't let me because my counselor has not filled out the form on line. w
What do I do?

^^^^^^ Im having the same problem dude. Let me know if you find a solution. The only thing i can think of is print it , and overnight it.

why is cc so screwed up today, it never posts in the right spots and the time is all messed up. I need to submit the ed agreement but it doesnt send an email to my parents email although it says it did and i checked the spam box . nada

Droffas, if you filled out the common app but didn't have school forms yesterday, go get some envelopes postmarked right now. Then, when your school starts back up, have your counselor send the report to Vassar. I did that for every school I applied to, and I still have to do it for Vassar.

On an alternative note, last night, I submitted all of my stuff before midnight central time (around 11:15), and it said my Application and Payments were submitted around 12:15 EASTERN time.

I emailed the undergraduate admissions office around 11:25 just to prove I got everything sent in before the deadline central time.

Think I'll get shafted?

No, you'll be fine. It takes the office a while to get materials together for everyone anyway so 15 minutes means nothing to them. Don't worry.

I don't think that that there will be a problem if you can successfully submit the application via the common App website. For instance, I once started the Middlebury College Supplement, but eventually decided not to apply to that college. The deadline was December 15. Few days ago they emailed me and said that I could still submit the Application if I wish as their online system would continue to function till Jan 1st. So I think slight delay in submission would not make a difference.

Hey, I didnt decide I was going to apply ED 2 to Vassar until a week before the deadline. I didnt check (my mistake) and on the 1st when I tried to submit I realised that I needed the ED agreement thing from my counsellor. I live in Dubai so I had a few hours until American time deadline, but when I tried to get in touch with my counsellor I realised that he was in England and not accessible. So I emailed Vassar saying that everything was ready, I had submitted my supplement before the deadline and my commonapp was done but I couldnt submit it before he agreed. They emailed back saying something about him faxing it, obviously not realising what the problem was in my situation. School started today (4th) and I got him to send it, but do you think there will be a problem? Hopefully my e-mail should be proof that I was done in time??
