Dealing with Senioritis

As someone said on the other Senioritis thread, it's more than just the grades you get, but more like a mindset of laziness and the inability to do anything. Although I'm getting the highest gpa I've ever gotten, I don't do anything, at school or at home. I feel horrible about myself, but just can't get over being lazy. What are some ways that you guys are getting over senioritis and finding something interesting to do? Thanks.

You dont have seniorites, you need a life.

amen ^

10char

you prob shouldn't just sit around doing nothing

go out or something, do something you like to do.
shouldn't just sit in front of a TV rotting

Haha you are like me. I dont really care enough to pretend to enjoy extracurriculars. I have a pretty high gpa but am pretty lazy as well.

Let me understand this correctly..... You are worrying about senioritis, but yet are getting the highest GPA you have ever gotten? Ok...

If you have senioritis, let it be. There is no known cure.

I saw a horrible second semester academic slump during my senior year. However, I wound up having the most memorable and magical semester ever that year. The memories with my friends were priceless. I would give anything to repeat that semester.

I knew that every day with my friends was special once we hit around 90 days to go. I cherished every moment and made sure that every minute counted. And trust me--that last day will be very hard for you. I broke down in the hallway, and I'm not the kind of guy to show emotions. I went home driving a wet steering wheel, not because of rain, but because of tears.

So don't treat your senioritis, use it to your advantage to enjoy your life!

Is this a joke? You need to indulge yourself -- drinking, promiscuity, extreme sports, or these things in combination. Go out and have a weird time, remembering that it is often disappointing when you try to have a good time, but it is seldom disappointing to try to have a weird time. Turn the worm, bust loose, and stop feeling sorry for yourself. This is the first day of the rest of your potential incarceration. Carpe diem. Carpe body of beautiful member of the opposite sex -- or same sex if you're into that thing. Get it started.

It's amazing how people get lazy yet still getting high grade. It never work for me.

Seniorites: We could could find a cure, but we just don't give a ****.

It's kind of odd. I've been lazy as hell my last 3 years of high school, but my senior year I actually feel like working. Not always in academics though, I also do other random things that are pretty constructive and profitable.

I have this class I should really be enjoying... it's rennaisance and elizabethan theatre, goes along with a play I'm in, and there's a great professor... but my senioritis is so bad I can't even enjoy it.
I really need to get over this...

seniorities has now reached it's zenith, second semester senior year: aims...couple of cs and the rest bs O.o...sigh...nvm...my school doesn;t give out cs i guess straight bs now =D lol
