Dean's Honor Notification

Daughter got the DSA also - mighty nice numbers!

D rec'd Founders 16k+2k. I believe (haven't pried the letter from her hands yet :-).

Very nice surprise! She already had Tulane near the top of her list after finding out they let undergrads in the Tropical Medicine program. So we are wondering if this isn't kismet at work.

Anyone else visiting during Destination Tulane? D is signed up for March 10th.

Congratulations! I hope you'll find when you visit, as we did last spring, that the people at Tulane are incredibly friendly and love their school to a degree that seems to make them want to share it with everyone. That was one of the reasons my son wanted so much to be there.

Hey, all! My DD also received the DSA yesterday. WOW is the catchword for the day. We are happy campers :) Will now have to find the best time to visit, probably during one of the March Honors Program events.

congrats, and enjoy the moment. I get to enjoy it evertime the tuition bill is mailed out!

Well, I'm sort of confused. Whenever I called the Tulane phone system, when I was waiting to hear if I was even accepted, it said I was a DSA candidate -- except I never applied for DSA! I decided to apply too late . I called Tulane and checked with them, they looked my app up, and said not to worry, everything was OK.

So I got a letter today telling me that I did not receive a DSA; I was OK with that considering I never applied :-P.

Good news: I was offered a Founder's Scholarship ($14k for tuition, $2k for housing)! I am so excited; I am seriously considering Tulane.

I want to visit -- even next week. Would it be much better to visit during Destination Tulane?

Congrats to everyone!!!

what's the difference with the Community Service Scholarship?
