Is it published publicly, or is it only on the transcripts of people who have received it?

I am not aware of a public Dean’s List. It appears as a citation on your transcript at the end of every academic year (requirements [here](04/20/10, From the Provost - Almanac, Vol. 56, No. 30)) I was under the impression that the Dean’s List requirement varied by undergraduate school, but I appear to be mistaken.

I do know that it appears on the transcript. I was wondering whether they do publish the names publicly, like some schools do.

As far as I know (and as far as search engines know), no such list exists online. In the College, there is a list of the Phi Beta Kappa recipients see left column of [this page](http://www.college.upenn.edu/honors/pbk/index.php).

Nope. No public list afaik.
