Dean's Scholars Chances + some questions

Hi! Some questions about Dean's Scholars...

Do they also have access to the normal ApplyTexas Application? There are some things I listed in that application but not in the Honors application (Community Service, etc.)

Is the resume needed in order to be accepted/ win honors scholarship?
I know it says optional, but it also says "strongly recommended" so I don't know how to interpret that.

I did not submit it yet, so it would be past the deadline.
It would depend on the answer to the first question also--if they already see the ApplyTexas, there's not really any new information I'd like to add.

So, most important question: do you think there's any hope for me? X)

I love the school and when I visited for a swim meet it seemed like the perfect location but without scholarship it's too expensive for me >.<

(A little unrelated-- do they still give a fee waiver for OOS National Merit?)

Thank you :D

You have a fantastic chance of acceptance. I am a current Plan II Honors student and I have several friends who are Deans scholars and they absolutely love it. I know of two who turned down MIT to be apart of the Deans Scholar program here at UT. Austin is fantastic and if you are accepted don't pass up this amazing opportunity!
