<p>Please, to all of those people with 4.0 unweighted gpas and 2200 SATs asking if you can get into some second rate school that we all know you have a 100% chance of getting into, shut up. If you have to ask, and you can't really come up with the answer yourself, then I just assume you're lying about those stats. You need to give the 3.3s with the 1900 SATs a chance to be seen. If you have a 4.0 and a 2200 you're fine, you will get into a good school. It might not be your first choice, but it will still be good. You need to leave space for the people with slightly less secure futures, the people that maybe aren't so sure about their future and really need advice about where to apply. I know I've been guilty of asking about schools that I already know the answer to. Even though you may consider some school just a safety, it might be someone else's dream school. Things happen, and academics can suffer because of whatever happened. Some people just need advice more than others. That's all I have to say about that.</p>
