could someone take a screen shot and show me? I'm not exactly sure where/how it looks like. =/

maybe the button means a decision on your application as already been made...

Yes, the letter's mass is directly proportional to its postive outcome!

You won't have to guess - an acceptance isn't in a regular thin legal sized envelop!

Good luck!

You want the button? You can't handle the button !

Ok, here is the button, for all you undeserving mortals:
http://img488.imageshack.us/img488/7703/buttonao6.jpg

Negru
- I kept clicking the button you pointed to but...nuthin...again and agin...nuthin...what's up with that?

^lol

the button doesnt open, i tried your link

lol "fee waiver granted"

regarding having your sat scores in on time: i e-mailed admissions about a similar issue and i was informed that no decisions are made until all of your information and required test results are received by the department. actually here's the email:

Dear *****,

Due to the tremendous volume of mail we are receiving at this time your scores may already have been received but not entered into the computer. Please assume that they have indeed arrived. We will mail you a note if any part of your application is missing, before we make a final decision.

Best wishes,

The Brown Admission Office

Does Brown overnight mail decisions like Columbia does?

yarghhh i just need a date!!! the unknown is making me crazy!

hahahhaha im reading this thread and i'm laughing.

its as if the button is the determining factor in admissions. hahaha sorry you guys :)

best of luck to everyone!

^ do not underestimate the power of the button !

Early decision

Early decision application deadline: November 1.
Decisions are mailed December 10.

Anyone think that's credible?

Well, considering that they still have Michael Goldberger listed as Admission Director...no. Hee.

I wish it were though, lol. Eek, Dec. 10th!

But if we are to receive our letters around the 15th, they would mail them 3-5 days prior, and couldn't they just as easily provide online notification around then?

How can you trust this when it says that Brown has an "Early Action acceptance rate of 28%"?

First off, Brown does not offer an early action option. t only offers early decision.

Second, with ED applications, the acceptance rate is 23% not 28%

I wouldn't wait for the mailman till 12/15 - or look for and click on the notorious button that is on some people's app. page.

lol

yeah that site is not reliable

TheOldProf, where do you get the 23% ED acceptance rate? I thought it was slightly higher...

omgomgomg 11 days !

I WANT TO BE BROWN!!!!!!

Since I have a button, if it means anything at all, it means a rejection. haha

I think it just means they made a decision. I just got one today.
