Dec SAT- bad idea?

<p>For UC schools, is it a disadvantage to take the December SAT?</p>

<p>Since the apps are due at the end of November, the UC’s can’t review the the app until they receive the Dec SAT score if the person is taking it…so I heard somewhere that having to check the box on the app indicating that there will still be an incoming score will put the applicant at a disadvantage. Is that true…?</p>

<p>Taking the Dec SAT will not place the applicant at a disadvantage. The only difficulty is that there is less time for us to receive the scores. Please make sure to have the scores sent immediately to the UC campuses you have applied to.</p>
