<p>@bhph11 ya the comparison was like " did not commend her as much for her acting [as it did her something something]. I knew using “but” wasn’t right.</p>

<p>In the short compare passages about language what’s the author of 2nd passage think of the “model” in the first passage? perplexing?</p>

<p>For the passage on Caribbean culture and the Creole language, did you guys say that the contradiction between their use of their native language and their contempt for it caused confusion? I think one of the other choices was that it stifled their individualism.</p>
