December 2007 MATH level 2

@ anjoola, I did teh double triangle without using any laws...the value of the angles were give...you just had to find the sine of the 2 angles and make an equation and solve for H

@Anjoola, no I think it was just one with a triangle, one of the easier ones (it had low values, like sides of 4 and 6 or something, and one angle was like 35 degrees). I was just rushed on that one so I wanted to see if my answer was correct or not....

Studied for about 2 days. Went in head up high went out scared. I left 11 blank and i think i got 2-4 wrong. There wasn't enough time to simply do the computations for some of the more complex problem. First few were very easy though.

"I had prob with that r+1 and s+1 roots.."
The answer to that was x^2-9x+10.. Sitll ahve it in my calculator.

I'm turning in for the night fellow forum posters...its getting pretty late here in Kuwait...
Good luck to all for the results!!

rosh, i know this is kind of pushing the envelope, but do you remember what answer choice that was?

150 for the trapezoid.

34 for the diagonal one.

150 for trapezoid!! wasn't it .5(base1 + base2)(height)
oh wait yeah that's what I got ><

Can we really discuss specific questions/answers anywhere to anyone? I thought they told us not to... Can someone find something written by collegeboard that tells us we can?

Yeah guys, don't talk about the test or CB will send a SWAT team into your house and next thing you know you're in federal prison.

j/k, we're not SUPPOSED to talk about the test but CB shouldn't care if everyone has done it. They seem to care more about APs because they reuse the multiple choice questions.

At the beginning of the thread I read that 40 raw will probably be the minimum for 800. Usually its 43. I thought it was always 43 for a 800, has it every been that low in the past?

I didn't study at all for this, I seriously was clueless for about 70% of the questions after #25.

I must have omitted about 20. Hahahaha.

What do you guys think 12 omit 4 wrong would be?

you guys stop saying the first half was easy! CB might be reading this and then make the curve harsher!!! :p

atomicbomb, i seriously doubt that a 40 raw will be an 800. i'd say it'd still be a 43 for an 800. in my experience, CB curves never seem to favor you.

IF a 40 raw is an 800.... What would it be for a 700 and 600? It obviously isn't going to be 30 and 20.

Also if it's 43 what will it be for those scores as well?

if 43 is an 800, according to the PR book, a 30 would be a 680 and a 20 would be a 590

^^if it is shifted 3 points down then its shifted 3 points down for the scores close to 800, but as you descend lower the shift becomes smaller.

I have 3 omit and 3-5 wrong. Hopefully its 3 wrong so i get an 800 (if its 43)

i have 6 omit and 4-5 wrong. this kills my heart. i dont know if i should cancel coz i already took this test before with a 720, and if i dont improve enough...things are not going to look good.

what did u guys get for the prime number one.
I put two prime numbers added +1. But i didnt have time to look at the other options and try to work it out.

yeah it was that, but there were two options that said +1, prolly trying to trick you.

i don't remember which one i put down.
