December 2009 ACT Results

lol. thanks cody! i can’t wait till my scores come out too! so worried! scores’ll just make it on time for reguilar decision. hope you guys all did well!
COUNTDOWN: 12 days! :D

we should start a countdown for the upcoming february test. i’m sure i’ll be taking that as well. but in all honesty, i’m just looking for improvement on this one (meaning 23+). After I buy my princeton review, i should finally get my score into the 30’s.

^^Though they do make it on time for regular decision, the reporting time can cause them to not be considered >.> I’m so stressed about it right now.

11 days! Anxiety kills.

If you took ACT Plus Writing, is the deal that you can see your scores online whenever they are graded, and you just have to wait for them to be mailed to you until the essay is also graded?

Yeah, the score report won’t be mailed until the essay is graded as well. This is going to be the death of me.

I have no idea if these scores will even get to be considered in time for U of Chicago, Stanford, Pomona College, and all those other schools that have January 1st-5th score report deadines. They’ll appear so late! Gah…

10 days! Eek! Hoping for a 33. :D

I hope I can get at least a 30. If I do, I will be happy cause a 30 is good for a freshman in high school.

“I hope I can get at least a 30. If I do, I will be happy cause a 30 is good for a freshman in high school.”

A 30 as a freshman would be amazing, because most of the things you learn for the ACT are usually in sophomore year, which you obviously haven’t had yet.

I went into the ACT completely cold, never taken it before, no practice tests. I really hope i get around 33 or so.

Fifth and last time taking it…thank the freaking lords. I just want a 30+ and a 30+ in science…that would bring my superscore up up up…But off course, if I could get a 30+ overall, that would be amazing…

NO MORE STANDARDIZED TESTING!!! WOOT WOOT

I don’t know, I think a lot of it depends on the school and the preparation you do. My older son got a 31 when he took it as a freshman, then a 35 junior year when he took it for real. At the same time, my younger son studied with him and took it last June, at the end of 8th grade - just for fun. He got a 34! (36 Math, 36 Science, 34 English, 29 Reading). I think knowing the test is more important than knowing the material.

8 days!! I just want a 33. lol prays

I would have a 35 if Science didnt kill me score (like it always does)

heyy guys, quick question. does your Dec. 2009 ACT still say registered? or did it change to tested? One of my friend’s scores were delayed because it still said registered. so worried… :s

collegehelp01 -

More than likely it should still say registered. It won’t say tested until just before scores are released.

8 days?
i’m content with my sat scores, but hoping my ACT scores will get me higher.

I need my ACT scores to glow, especially with my overall crappy SAT and SAT 2 scores. However, I don’t see me breaking 30 at this point. Goodbye Dartmouth.

Meh. SAT scores were disappointing so hopefully ACT will give me a better surprise.

Same. Not satisfied with my SAT.
