Frankly, I don’t think you can be disappointed with a 2400, especially if some of your faults were in the math section (I think everyone can live with a 770 or even 760 M - It’s the <770 CR score that reallys nags at a person, am I right?).

monstor344 - I didn’t put any time into memorizing vocab - just blue book practice, so I can’t really be disappointed by my CR scores (740 in October, 700 in December). On the other hand, math would be easier to be disappointed at because all it takes is one or two silly mistakes to bring that score up to an 800.

haha @monstor344, not that there is any real base for this assertion but a girl got a 2400 w/a 10 on her essay and applied to harvard… got waitlisted and swears that, because she didnt get an 11 or 12, she wasnt accepted…

i suppose there is always that “someone”

Whoops, meant to say mid-2300s and above. But wow, that H-waitlist girl is really delusional. To think these schools actually care about your SAT essay score…They hardly care about the writing section altogether!

Praise the Lord!

2290.

Superscored: 2340

What is a superscore??

It’s the score you get from adding your best score from each individual section.

Edit: This implies that you have taken the SAT more than once.

…across multiple test dates

As a senior, December was basically my last shot. I’m satisfied. This was my breakdown:
750-CR
730-M went down 10 pts from last time
800-W,[12] essay !
2280-one sitting, 2290(superscore)

Barrons Critical Reading Workbook + Pencils + Few hours at library + luck = 2110 –> 2280

Now it’s back to college essays. PEACE.

what is wrong w/ u people? so smart.

i got

640/740/680 = 2080

superscore 640/800/680= 2120

but still glad that i made this far although it’s been less than 2 years that i have been educated in english.

^^mabye its just really late but that sounded really asian…

like accent wise

670 cr (down 20…)
610 m (same as last time)
670 w (up 90)

1950 one sitting/1970 superscoredl. I’m happy that I improved by almost 100 points, but I really felt that this test was a lot harder than the October one… I’m not a genius like any of you guys, so of course everyone at school will praise me for no reason, but I truly hope that it’s high enough to qualify me for a National Achievement Finalist position.

Arrrghhhh what the freaking heck. I thought I got all math wrong, and got a 730 O_O

700/730/740 = 2170

arghh 70 points less than PSAT

Congratulations, everyone.

No 2400’s yet? Are CC standards going down or something? :)

CR: 650
M: 640
W: 720
= 2010 (what a nice way to enter the next year)

Best I’ve done ever all across the board, no need for superscoring except for the essay which I previously had gotten an 11.

I’m so excited. I don’t need a 2300 to be happy. I hit my goal (2000+), and I am thankful. Went from 1880 to 2000+. I know a guy who just got accepted to Brown and didn’t have the best SAT scores but a nice ACT score, so don’t worry too much you guys. He didn’t submit his SAT scores though.

***?
750CR
700M
660W
How did this happen? From checking the answers on these boards I swear I only missed one CR and one math question. Whatever, I guess I’ll be retaking soon.

600/770/670 :/

writing went down by ten points. Last time I got a 680
superscore: 2040

I know on here this is probably the lowest score, but I don’t care…I’m so bad at the SAT’s it’s not even funny. But anyway.
