December 2009 SAT scores and January 1st deadline...?

Is anyone sending their December 2009 SAT scores to a college that has a January 1st deadline?

Only one of my January 1st deadline schools wants the score report by mail.

If I included it in my free score reports, would they get it to the school by the January 1st deadline? I heard that by mail, it takes about a week or two more than instantly getting scores online on the 22nd.

Or should I leave the school out of my free reports, and on the 22nd order a priority report to the school?

I'm only concerned because I'm assuming the postal system has a break on the 24th-25th and the 31st-1st.

Thanks!

I have the same question. Most of my schools have the 1st of January as deadline and I think I really did better on the December SAT 1 test.

If you have designated the college as a send on your list of sends with CB, and the college accepts December scores (almost all), the score will get there “on time” even if it arrives after Jan 1. Colleges generally accept receipt of Dec scores even if they show up a week or so after the app deadline date. As to “rush” delivery, it is really not needed and many colleges do not accept rushed scores.
