<p>I'll be taking two subject tests on the December SAT date, and I was wondering it the schools I've requested to have scores sent to will be able to receive them by January 1st? I know that web scores come out December 20th, but the paper scores begin mailing December 31st. While I was choosing schools to report to, it said that it sends out schools 1-2 weeks via internet; does that mean 1-2 weeks after the reports were available online?</p>

<p>Most scores are actually electronically transmitted to colleges these days and it happens whenever the college has an agreed to transmit time after scores come out which can be one to two weeks after scores come out. They may or may not get there before January 1.</p>
<p>You really need to look at a different issue. Check with each college you are applying to with a Jan 1 deadline date as to the last test they take for admission purposes -- colleges generally provide that info in their admissions section (often in a calendar of deadlines) on their websites. I do not know about every college that has a Jan 1 deadline but all that I am aware of accept through the December test date and the test score can arrive after Jan 1 -- the app deadline date is not the test score deadline date; in fact, some of those colleges even take January scores.</p>
