December 2010 ACT English Discussion

Alright. Yeah. I originally had Sold to people she didn’t know, but I may have changed it. I sure hope so.

I don’t agree with these answers. I said when she least expected and also for the twilight I said something along the lines of her taking in the scenery.

ACT: That can’t be all of the answers, because according to that I’m at a -2 but I remember reading some other answers in previous posts that I got wrong.

And no, the twilight was no change (if I remember correctly). The rest were either unspecific or didn’t make any sense.

The artist one was definitely before show opened, and thatis the consensus as well.

@TheHelper: It was definitely “before the show opened”. No question.
@Wong: Yeah, I only put the answers to the questions I remembered or we discussed sufficiently enough to arrive at a consensus (from this thread and the one from last October). Also, are you saying you’re disagreeing with the biker’s headlights answer? If so, which answer did you specifically put? That was the consensus from last year.

Agreed, before the show opened was the correct answer.

The biker one had no other option but to be no change. The question specifically asks for you to pick that answer that indicates that it is twilight out; no change was the only option that even alluded to it. The other options may have been grammatically correct, but a reader would never know that it was dusk out if you picked anything but no change (which was the biker’s headlights answer).

No, I’m agreeing with the headlights answer, which I believe to be no change.
