This thread is funny why worry about the right answer if there’s nothing you can do about it?

^Basically to put my mind at ease, so I can focus on other things.

For the question about B being reflected and becoming F or whatever, did anyone else not have a picture?? Afterwards I talked to my friend and he was like “It was easy, there was a diagram” but I know for a fact I did not have a diagram. It gave me no values and I had no way to solve it. Should I email the ACT or something? I think there was a mistake on mine…

I read all six pages and still have nothing wrong!!! If I actually get a 36 I’ll probably scream, dance, and faint. Anyone now when the scores are released?

I haven’t gotten anything wrong (in the math section) yet either! :)

To answer my previous question, they will start releasing scores on December 27.

What is 120 the answer to? I’m so confused? was 125 a choice for that one?

120 = answer to the question about the lineup possibilities of 5 people. i dont think 125 was a choice.

I remember putting 20.99, or at least something ending in .99, for an answer. Also one of them was like if sin(x) = 0.4 what is csc(x). I did 1/0.4 and got 5/2.

Yeah, the answwer was like 21.99

because it was 17.99 + 4 for the wash.

Yes, 5/2 was correct.

Anyone know the answer to the tent one? I put 6.

i put 5 i think.

btw ironturtle, you better live up to the rep of silverturtle.

the answer for the tent was 5 because it said round up and you get something like the sqrt of a number which is 4.something then rounded to 5

For the 5 people in a line, i got 120 but how many answers were there before 120 does anyone know? I think I put D and the answer was C
A 5
B 25
C 120
D …

Was there something before 120 and after 25??

no there was something like 3025 or something really big

The answer to the tent one was sqrt(27) = 5.196 which to the nearest foot is 5.

Oh, an answer was sqrt(34)

and the tent was a right triangle if you thought about it 3dimensionally. it was sqrt(6^2 - 3^2) = sqrt(27) i forget what the base was, but something along those lines which is 5 ft approx.

Hahaha they beat me to it!

MIT. I put 25 to that question. There is no way that there can be 120 different ways for the people to be arranged. There’s only 5 people.

ok we have 5 spots: _ _ _ _ _

how many ways are there in the 1st spot: 5 ways because all 5 are eligible
2nd spot: 4 ways because we used up 1 person
3rd: 3
2nd: 2
1st: 1

54321 = 120

:( -1 for me
