I"m 99% sure it was 1/16. I believe the square was a quarter of the square, which was split into two triangles, (1/8), and then one of those was split into two parts (1/16). They wanted that smallest part IIRC.

i put 1/12…

It was 1/16…100 % sure

NOOOOOOOOO. why didn’t i look at it again?!! i swear i knew it was a quarter when i walked out but i kept telling myself otherwise. ughhh, i feel so annoyed right now. damn you ACT, and your stupid time limitations!!!

can a -1 be a 36?

Can it? ofcourse. Will it? None of us know.

i already have a 2240 so if i don’t make at least a 35 on this test, it was a waste of time. so, every point counts for me… :(

^^ i am pretty sure a -1 won’t be a 36, kansas.

but thanks for saying it’s a possibility and making me feel better haha! :)

for #60, was there an answer choice that looked like this? it may have been D…

r+s/2sqrt(rs)

or was it just

r+s/sqrt(rs)

I thought it was a 1/4 triangle inside a 1/4 square?
Making it 1/8?

The pressure one was the graph in the lower right hand corner. I forgot which letter.

r+s/sqrt(rs)

^ i remember that it was the last answer choice.

I remember throwing in the #s 2 and 3 and getting the answer. I think it was E? But IDK anymore.

you need to brush up on area prob before your next test. ;)

it was my first and last, unfortunately. :(

http://i51.■■■■■■■.com/rvc5d0.png

I meant 1/16** hahahahaha
This is the problem?

^ lol i was in such a hurry, i barely looked at the figure, but yeah that looks somewhat like it i think. it was definitely 1/16. :(

So #3 was something like: I was a 3x4 board and each square foot costs $3. How much does it take to make the game board?

Was it $36? That’s what I put but I also thought it could be $72… if the question was asking for BOTH SIDES. Anyone?

the steam one was E i think, because the rate of A was larger than B’s but A still hit a lower point in that graph

@ellegee I think you’re just overthinking it. I put $36 as well.

Does the ACT order questions in terms of difficulty? If so, #36 was definitely correct.

there was a question about 3 cups on concentrated juce w/ 5 cups of water and if 80 cups or something are needed how many cups of concentrated jjuice is needed? i blanked out and guessed 48…anyone?

^48 was correct. U are a hella lucky guesser!
