December 2010-SAT II Biology E/M

I thought it was easier than the june test, which i cancelled. Definitely not cancelling this one!

Discuss!

I felt pretty good about it. I completely blanked out on the cross section of the leaf -_-

the place where most photosynethesis occurs is palisade mesophyl-answer choice A
the opening and closing question: E
the one with the transporting nutrients thing is the picture that was circular. It was like a cross section in a cross section: answer choice B? I dont remember.

^Basically it was a picture of the xylem/phloem

How many questions can you miss for an 800?

most similar to primate was which?

@yalefanboy - Do you mean that circular thing that was at the very top or that strange little blank thing in the middle?

^at the very top. I think

I felt unconfident of the primates one. May have gotten that wrong. I think i put 2 and 3? the dinosaur and duck? Not sure if i am remembering correctly

it was only one choice. i too was unsure between duck or dinosaur

I may have put duck then. Oh wait i did put DUCK! Im not sure though.

what was the clumping one?

i put duck too. wasnt postive though.

that was the one that said “it would increase the chance of mating”

Here’s my support: [Population dispersion: Definition from Answers.com](<a href=“Answers - The Most Trusted Place for Answering Life's Questions”>http://www.answers.com/topic/population-dispersion)

I hate SparkNotes. It said nothing about clumping. I was like -_-

^I didn’t know it either. None of the other answer choices really made any sense or weren’t providing a proper justification. That’s how I based my answer.

No one else remembers any other questions? If you do, I will probably remember what i put down.

OK, does anyone remember those questions about photosynthesis? (I think it was under the bio M section)

I put oxygen-seeking bacteria.
and was the highest production of oxygen at violet light?

^yes to the bacteria. For the violet light, I think i put that. Was the violet the one on the very left of the x-axis of the graph? If so, then yes to both.

wth i put whale… cause whales are mammals arent they?

and for the other one i put something about mating…

@Wittlefelluh, It was a WHALE! Because primates and whales are both mammals! Can’t be any similar that!

crap just kidding it’s not mating its the resources…DARN! 1 blank 2 wrong…
