December 2010-SAT II Biology E/M

i left 6 blank :(

Anybody remember the graph questions?

with the trees?

Hey I have some questions if any of you remember what you put. I took E btw.

the eyeball questions toward the beginning of the test?

the bacteria/DNA picture? They asked like where the ribosomes were, the DNA + protein, etc?

any other of the multiple-part questions that had diagrams/graphs/pictures?

Oh yeah and the plant cell one? The one with the palisade layer and chlorophlasts?

really want to know exactly how many I got wrong cuz i skipped 8 questions. Anyone know how many I’d need to get right to still get a 700?

was the tRNA the answer to the structure with protein and DNA or something like that?

@SALANEO

it was retina for the cones and rods, iris for the muscle, and lens for the focus thing

i put 5, which was the round circle thing, the bonds were at 2, and the protein and mrna were at 6 i think

i dont remember sorry

and i think you can get like 15 wrong and get 700 :)

rofl I didnt even know what the thing meant. There was like this DNA helix that was being translated into RNA I think but there were like these random things coming off of it with little balls attached to them and there were these large spheres in the middle too. Was that the bacteria or something?

if i get 10 wrong and left 6 blank is that over a 700?

The thing coming off was the translated protein. I think that’s what you’re referring to.

omg is that 15 wrong + my 8 ommited ones or is that just 15 wrong total out of 80 with 0 omitted.

The structure with protein and RNA is the ribosome, which I believe was 5.

^no it was 6.

was that the little balls coming off the RNA strand

^no the little balls was 7. 6 was the thing before that. That thing contained the little balls.

6 was the string that was both protein and rna

the ribosome was the huge round thing which was 5

^I think we’re both wrong ifailatsats. the Ribosome is what contains proteins and rna, not #6 i believ

l0l i thought the giant ball was the bacteria wow i fail. what study guides did u use btw. I used PR and like 1/3 of the stuff on the test id never seen

The ribosome was the two big circles at the bottom right of the picture. It had the big circle on the top and the smaller big circle on the bottom. The mRNA was going into it, and the protein (the chain of small balls/hexagons) was coming out. I don’t remember exactly what number that is.

@nne718 yep that’s right.

for the mrna and protein it was the #6, the thing between the protein and the ribosome right?

Was there a question about mRNA+protein? I only remember two separate questions: one asking which was mRNA and one asking which structure contains both RNA (not specifically mRNA) and protein.

Anybody remember the question about the insects and the decomposing tree? Was the correct graph the bell curve?
