There was a poster in the picture with following written on it:

“Lawyers for sound money policy.”

That didn’t seem like a populist march. Idk.

You have a point. I thought it could be some form of a mockery of the rich. I never heard of that before. Any one know that Britain and France question where their last war was fought?

Here is the photo: [Getty Images - Unsupported browser detected](<a href=“The 'Lawyers Sound Money Club' join a parade, in New York, support of... News Photo - Getty Images”>The 'Lawyers Sound Money Club' join a parade, in New York, support of... News Photo - Getty Images)

This is the accompanying caption: “The ‘Lawyers Sound Money Club’ join a parade, in New York, support of William McKinley and the Gold Standard in the 1896 Election campaign.”

Thanks nateheeter, I couldnt find it anywhere. Well thats 2 questions wrong that i know of

I think I put the 1896 choice, because I spent a moment studying photo quality and the details of the clothing of the bystanders. Those hats answered the question for me, after obvious wrong answers were eliminated.

This is really killing me. Anyone know that British France war north america question?

The French and Indian War was a part of the Seven Years’ War, so I thought it started in Europe. I was mistaken, as the former caused the latter, not the other way around. So, the actual answer was “North America”, as to where the last Anglo-French war for North American territory began.

I put that answer. Therefore I thought it was a trick question. Thanks BillyMc

Not a problem.

Do we have any other questions to be answered?

What was the question/answer about the last uprising before some year? I would look it up, but I don’t remember the specifics of the question. I think I put Bacon’s Rebellion.

I think that question was like which one was the biggest rebellion i also put bacons rebellion. Billy I cant remember questions i personally didnt know until someone brings it up. But I was not sure about 5-8 of them but I know i answered like 3 of them correct so far

There was something about being before some year, because I remember ruling out the Boston Tea Party or something because I knew it occurred past that date. I think it was like 1765 or something.

There was a question asking about the largest insurrection of American colonists against British law before 1763. I also put Bacon’s Rebellion, but I cannot remember the other answer choices, so I cannot confirm whether or not I had the correct answer. That date may or may not be the exact one.

The answer to the one question about the navigation acts was mercantilism, right?

E. Exclusive Trade (or some such thing) is what I put.

If you continue reading that article, it states later:

“The Navigation Acts were repealed in 1849 under the influence of a laissez-faire philosophy. The Navigation Acts were passed under the economic theory of mercantilism under which wealth was to be increased by restricting trade to colonies rather than with free trade.”

You must have put “preferential trading”

I did. If it says that it is mercantilism, then my answer, however plausible it seemed to me, is wrong.

I remember when I took it two months ago, instead of having a question on Hudson School of Art, I got a question that had to do something with the Armory Art Show of 1918 (?).

It was something along the lines of “The Armory Art Show of 1918 was notorious in that it banned this kind of art:” realism, naturalism, pop art, futurist, and something else.

I never was able to find out the answer to this and I’m just curious as to what the answer actually was.

One of the choices was the Hudson School, though it was incorrect. It was that it included a certain type of realism.

Edit - just checked that test’s thread: it was social realism.
