December 2013 SAT thread

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!!

Going for that 1600 let’s gooo

Thank you man

it was re-used or not and what was the math section tricky questions ? and writting passage what was talking about ?

I’ll be taking it tomorrow. I’ve been extremely disappointed with my testing in the past, got a 1930 the first time, and a 1960 a few months later. The second time I took the test I had what was essentially the best chance for me to run a personal best cross country time for my high school career, and my friend and I both ran horribly because we were sitting at a desk for 4.5 hours right before the test. I’ve done a fair amount of prep for this test, so I’m hoping to get my 630 writing up to a 700, I’m fine with my 730 math, and I need to bring my 620 CR up to around a 700 to have even a slight chance at my top choices for schools. Ultimately, I have grown to hate standardized tests, and realized that they have taken the fun out of my senior year, and will probably also contribute to the rejection letters I’ll receive in the upcoming months. W00t.

If your school/test center is closed (Mine was - way too much ice), you’ll probably have it rescheduled for the 21st like mine was. :)

Does anyone remember the last question on the writing section?

I’m praying that section 9 math was
The exeperimential

and can anyone remember the passages for cr?

The CR was too hard for me, math and writing were good.

@Lanie49 I don’t think the last 4 sections are experimental

Who had math experimental? I believe the first math section was the experimental one, the one with the question about “mole” (chemistry unit) and the inequality graph. Can anybody confirm?

@santaman did you have a math question that was like how many ways can 3,5,2 add up to 12?

@santaman - I never had that section, so it must have been experimental…

Lanie, I said 5 different ways

@Lanie49 Yes I did have that question, wait what was the answer to that anyways…

Oh f I thought that was the experimental! I know I missed that one because I also put 5

My experimental section was critical reading, don’t know which one yet!

Yes, I had five different ways as well. I am pretty sure the second section (1st section for math) was experimental. For me that section was crazy hard compared to the other math sections.

Does anyone remember the one about After reviewing the test several times, the story … became or had become
