@ShaneBlakeEy I did and they were horrible
I took it for the second time. I’m a junior and the first time I took it was December of sophomore year. I took it a year later and studied more English and Reading tips mainly. Practice tests help.

M: 35 (+3)

I got a 10 on the writing (+2).
I tested in Illinois and I’m hoping to apply to Northwestern, Stanford, UIC, and Rice
I just checked my score.

How can I improve this score to get at least a 34 ?
This was my second time taking the ACT. When I took it in April I got a 29.
I still have not gotten scores!!! Other students at my testing site got theirs. Why are mine being held?
I’m pretty upset about my scores. I had a low GPA and was hoping my scores would do the talking. Unfortunately they were abysmal.
C 27 (-1)
E 27 (+0)
M 22 (-3)
R 30 (-1)

Before the dummy alert goes off in your head.
The subsections were wild. I got a 16 (97th percentile) in English rhetorical, 18 (99th percentile) in reading social studies, 12 in Algebra (72nd percentile ) and 12 in trig (74th percentile) these were my ‘good’ scores. I got a 12 (72nd percentile) in English Usage/mechanics, 10 (49th percentile) in pre-Algebra and 12 (66th percentile) in reading literature. I noticed the sections I did bad on, were ones I made bubbling errors or changed answers and had to correct. I think my eraser failed me, and now I have these erratic scores. I don’t have the resources to pay for a hand re-score. It makes me mad that I have to pay money to verify my suspicions, couldn’t they just email me a a scan of my scored answer sheet. So, I could determine whether I should pay for a hand rescore. To release your answer sheet ACT charges 20 dollars. According to ACT I ‘receive a list of your answers.’ Is this the same as a scan of my answer sheet or is it what the scoring machine says are my answers, cause those won’t help determine score error.
If you pay for the hand scoring and they find an error in correction, they’ll refund the money.
In case there’s no problem with your scores, at least you clearly know which aspects you should focus on for the next test.
It’s January 6th, all my deadlines already passed and my scores haven’t arrived. Should I call the ACT, if I already paid for my scores to be sent do they at least send a message of “Scores are coming” ??
