December 9th ACT scores?

Hey guys

Probably a stupid question but when exactly do ACT scores for 12/9 come out? I do remember seeing on the ACT website that they appear the 19th, so does that mean they'll be in the mail or online or..??

Also, what is that whole "paying to see your scores early" thing about?

Please let me know ... if you know

Thanks Guys

Starting tomarrow you can pay 8 dollars online to see your scores during the "early viewing period".

If you would rather not pay, they should arrive my mail in the next few weeks.

if we want to send tommorrows scores to UCs and such. should pay the early fee to see if we even improved?? or will waiting for the scores to coem in the mail be ok??

it comes in the mail 4-7 weeks later so its better to see the scores online first.

As soon as ALL your scores are online (including writing if you took it), they are already hitting the mail stream and you should get them in a few days. If only your multiple choice scores are online and you took writing, you can't send scores to schools until your writing is done anyway. So seeing your scores early online buys you at most a few days as far as sending them to colleges is concerned.

Most schools will need to recieve your scores directly from ACT (or SAT) OR have your scores printed on your "Official School Transcript" scealed from your school. Last year my oldest son's scores jumped up dramatically. He had applied for the national ROTC scholarship which was approaching a deadline. The ROTC scholarship staff asked me st fax my son's scores. I faxed the score report page that had the ACT logo. The ROTC scholarship staff would still need to verify his scores from ACT. This moved my son's application to the top of the stack.

I proud to say that he recieved full ROTC scholarships from two branches of the Service AND Appointments to West Point and USAFA. He is home on winter break from Colorado Springs.
