December SAT Int. test

Topic's December SAT Int. test, remember?

Do you remember the math question in which you had this big square and a few more in each other withing the first one. The vertigos of one square were the midpoints of the sides of the previous square. It was one of the grid in questions. The probability of putting a dot in the smallest square. I got 1/16 I think.

flame may i have ur msn/email or stuff?

Yah it was 1/16.

Sure, I'll send you a PM right away with my skype and e-mail.

Cuong: I think I've read something about Mickey Mouse in Princeton Review 11 tests or Barron's 22 edition. I'm pretty sure it was in one of these two.
The Turing text had a similar one in them too.

What did you guys put for the labola passage or something... it says "I am ready for another round" or something like that? Was she tired?

I just said her daughter's bombardment made her really tired.

yes I put that too

i think i did pretty good on the SAT, considering i took it cold. jesus! why do i do this to myself? haizz.

the last writing section was pretty hard..there was one about the vietnamese phtoographer capturing the juxtaposition of modern and traditional culture in the photograph of 2 businessmen exchanging biz cards from side-by-side rickshaws. what was the mistake? i thought she might've used 'ably' wrong. anyone?

and someone add me on msn, i need to discuss SAT XP

^ remove the spaces heh

oh for the math question where they asked what the maximum number of token that the boy could have, given that there were 5-pt and 3-pt tokens and he had 585 pts? was it. i got 195 tokens but it seems like others say that's not the answer?

fiona I read the question twice and it doesn't say there are both kinds of tokens. The question that contains "both" is the one before it. There are two questions about the token one. The second question just says "least number" of tokens, so you just divide everything by 3. 195 is correct. If the previous question is continuous, then 195 would be wrong.

I think "ably" is alright... don't see anything wrong with ably...

I am still not sure whether I should cancel my score...

So far

-2 CR, -1 Math, -2~3 Writing (I don't even remember the writing questions...-.-...)
~expecting a 10~12 for essay

I am kinda worried about CR.

i don't think there's anything wrong with ably... in fact i think i put down "no error" for that one.

What did you guys put for the labola passage or something... it says "I am ready for another round" or something like that?

whats the other choices? i ruled out the "make her fear" choise at once
but i cannot remember which i have finally chosen

I chose something like : the mother was tired of her daughter's philosophical tirade..

i think i have chosen the same as urs af2

anyone remember the african mother one? one question asked about "sofa"
what did you guys choose?

There Wasn't 2 Questions About The Tokens One!!!???

Was It A Grid In???

If There Were, What Was The Other Question??

i think the sofa refers to her reward for being a good mother. There was one option on that.

Do you guys remember about a math question where the phone call cost $3.60 in a certain range of time and asked its price if made during the other range. I put 5.85 and it was a complete guess since I had no time.

I don't think/recall that there were 2 questions related to tokens on math sections.

5.85 is correct

Oh, thanks you tomo88 for giving me a hope for a 800!!! You know I'm a ****ing lucky bastard lol.

does anyone remember a question with one of its answer "exhausted"?
i heard others were discussing but i just could not remember

yes I think I remember something like this, the last part of it read like this : it was nothing short of exhausted . it mentioned that a particular thing was thorough, I can't remember what that thing was

I think u meant exhaustive
