December SAT Int. test

purpose- advocate unfettered expression of art vs. describe??...i don't think it was advocating 'unfettered expression'...wasn't it describing?

-i put 'ascribe' for an answer that had 'attribute' in the question
-for the 'extend' vocab-in-context question, did u guys put 'broaden' or 'prolong'? i put broaden.
-for writing, what did you put in the paragraph-improvement sections? for the 'One of the...gas...: nitrogen gas' thing, i put 'known as' to be included in the sentence. For another paragraph-improvement question, i put 'produced by' instead of 'a product of'
-in writing, do you remember the 'ably' one? i said the sentence had no error. anyone?
-for the disney question, what did you guys put for the 'capital' one?
-remember groundbreaker for any vocab question?
-for math, i put 72 for the rows/columns one
-i remember 192 or 132 for one grid-in (probably the second one)
-i put 1/3 for the t and 3 in a box = 1 thingy.
-OH yes, and do you guys remember the answers to the short-passage CR questions on section 2 about a dull writer being criticized by his friend? i was totally confused there.
-for the african one, i put suddenly felt doubted instead of proud.

people, list up your grid-in answers

i think i got the same answers as you student91 (yay!), except i got 193 for one of my answers (1903 + 35 =585 (number of points person had). for the known as question, i corrected it by removing the : and putting is "one of the ... gasses is nitrogen ..."

wow student ur memory is amazing... lol

i don't think i put ascribe... soemthing else... what other choices were there?

same

i got rid of the colon

same

disney was exp.

groundbreaker yes!

72 yes

don't remmeber sorry

don't remember sry =(

i remember a few from the short passage

both agree that his talents make him unaware of his~ E

passage 1 author would dispute claim of 2 because C is seemingly deep but not really

vocab-creative powers

2 author would think of 1’s claim- C never attempted to write good writing

evocative

o i didn't do the produced by/a product of thing...don't remember it. yes to the rest of your questions. and the capital part was "popular appeal=cultural significance"

anyone remember the answer choices for attribute?

and for the writing paragraph questions, 5 should be deleted right?

o for 4. i think i got something similar but not exactly the same, it was like "he never put in all of his effort" or something

yeah foldedpaper that's exactly what i put =)

is ascribe right for the attribute one?

yes 5 deleted and it's ascribe human attributes to innovations because the people decided that whatever the invention was was intelligent/human (they didn't appoint, or anything else, they attached/imbued the characteristics to the inventions

i am really confused about the art passage now...
i don't remember what the choices are...anyone remember?

hmm, it started with a question like "what is closest to the author's statement that artists become artisans/shopkeepers" and the answer was like d)when they become too concerned with popular appeal

hmm, and then it was a bunch of little picture/vocab in context questions

i got mostly the same

got the ascribe wrong...i put appointed =(

for grid in i think there was 1/16.

i tried to forget about the test after i came home...watched a movie and took a long nap. i guess it worked. don't remember anything at all...

do you remember putting 1/2 for math in the 'paint the box blue and then how many faces are still red'?

o i got a 1/6, but i didn't really care about the math section this time since i can't superscore higher, so i think you're right

what do you think the curve will be?

yeah student i got 1/2 as well..

i think the curve will be lenient for cr?

oh it is 1/16, it was the square one and the probability of landing in the small square

yeah, it's 1/2

wait wait wait, no that was 0.125, i don't remember the 1/(1)6 question

yup

10char

that's for the square with 4 inscribed...

i don't know if that's a grid in though
