December SAT scores

So I read this on the Rutgers FAQ:

"You should submit at least one set of scores by the Regular Action due date, to ensure consideration for all schools to which you applied. Your updated SAT scores will be considered fro admissions if they are received before a decision has been made on your application."

My question is, would my December SAT scores arrive in time for the due date (December 20 for required credentials)? The December SAT scores are set to be released on December 20. Can I just send all my SAT scores (including Dec) on the assumption they will be on time (is the requirement that the scores be postmarked or received by December 20?)? Or should I just submit the scores available to me right now, right now (that is, assuming the December SAT scores wouldn't make it in time)?

Thanks in advance!

Called Rutgers and was told that the scores need to be postmarked by December 20, but they can’t tell me anything more than that to answer my question. So then I called College Board and asked when exactly are the scores postmarked, and was told that mail scores are postmarked within two days, while electronic scores do not have a postmark date.

Then I checked Naviance, and it says Rutgers does not accept scores electronically, yet when I try to send my available scores (since it appears I won’t be able to send my December scores in time), the review page says they will be sent electronically. Quite confused… gonna call back again in a sec, but does anyone know the answer to this?

I would send Dec scores anyway since it will not hurt you.

Rutgers receive SAT scores electronically. So yeah, send your Dec. scores. Also, send any other SAT scores you may have just in case they don’t count your Dec. scores. But I’m almost sure that they will.

Coolio, thanks!
