December SAT Test Questions?? Help out this child!!

Hey all,

I am thinking about taking a 3rd SAT for the test day December the 6th, and I had some questions concerning that...

Collegeboard says the date I receive MY score will be December 23rd. Does that mean the Colleges I send to, which have deadlines around Jan. 1st and Jan. 15th will receive scores on the 23rd of December as well? If not, what can I do? Is taking SAT on December and trying to send the scores by Jan 1st not possible??

Another question:

Collegeboard lets you send the scores to four colleges you want to send to, then they have that $9.50 additional fee. Can I choose to choose certain colleges after I get my score? Like for example: I send to University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, George Mason University, and James Madison University (all 4 fees covered). Then on December 23rd I decide that I want to send to 5 more colleges that I had considered. Can I do that? PLEASE Help me, thank you

By the way, I did read the Collegeboard.com site but I'm confused by the wording so I wanted clarification... please dont be mad at meee

Check the colleges you are applying to for the latest SAT you are able to take.

You can

I'm doing the same thing as you and my deadlines are Jan 1st and 15th as well. The scores come out on the 23rd and it takes collegeboard around 1-2 weeks to send the scores to the colleges. So if it takes 2 weeks then your scores might be a little late for the Jan 1st deadline. A BU rep was at my school the other day and the schools deadline is Jan 1st but he said it was fine if I took the Dec Sats as long as you added somewhere in the application that the scores are coming. Also, I'm not sure about this but if you chose to send scores to other schools after the scores come out, (I think) it will take around a month for the scores to be sent to the schools of your choice instead of 1-2 weeks. So depending on what the deadlines for your other schools are, it's up to you. (Dont mark my word for the one month thing cause my friend took his SATs a while ago and when he tried to send it for 9.50, not with the ones when you register for the test, he said it took collegeboard around a month to send the scores)
