I scored lowered than last two times :((
@GMKoon we got strikingly similar Verbal scores lol. I got a 33 on the reading and a 34 on the writing, so a 670 overall. This was my lowest reading score ever… The reading last test was definitely harder than ever. I got a 730 on math, so I guess my overall 1400 isn’t too bad. I just can’t believe the reading still…
@CelestialAP Lol the 33 was my highest reading score ever (I’ve taken the rSAT three times). My writing score disappointed me because I actually expected a 39 or 40. While I was taking the test, I felt tremendously confident that I’d get that score, and my ACT English score (test taken one week after the SAT) turned out to be a 35.
CR/W: 770
R: 37/40
W: 40/40
M: 780
Essay: 7/7/7
C: 1550
When I was taking the test, I found the math sections significantly easier than my prior experiences with the Collegeboard’s practice tests. The writing section was about the same as usual, but the reading section was significantly more difficult than the practice tests’. I barely finished the section, and found some of the readings fairly cumbersome. Normally, I’d get 800 on R/W, so it appears that I will need to focus more on sharpening my skills in those areas. I may superscore after getting a better (hopefully perfect) R/W score, since I was taken aback by my 780 on the math section (and I doubt my ability to replicate it).
Great job, everyone! We’ve got several more opportunities to take the test, so let’s work hard and do even better next round!
