SAT January....How to study?

Hi everyone!

So I’m a junior in high school and I have decided to take the old SAT rather than the new SAT because there are more study materials and I wanted to take it sooner rather than later. I already took the SAT in both November and December, after taking an SAT review course.

My November scores were: CR- 690, M-660, W-760 (8 on essay)…

My December scores were: CR-650 (this may be because I ran out of time since I tried reading the questions before the passage), M-650, W-780 (9 on essay)…So the 2 important scores went down…

I’m in the top 3% of my class, and I really think I should be getting in the 700s on math and reading. (I know I can for reading because I got a 740 on a practice test).

I know that it’s a little excessive to take the old SAT for a third time, but my family convinced me that it can’t really do much harm. I was considering taking the ACT in the spring instead, and I probably still will if my scores don’t turn out as good as I want them to in January. The problem is that the SAT is less than 3 weeks away and those 3 weeks will be extremely busy with both regular school work and mid-term exams (literally right before the SAT), so I will have next to no time to study. So does anyone have any last-minute study suggestions that will pay off even with just a little amount of study time? (specifically for math & reading)

Thanks so much for reading this (and sorry that it was so long)
