I have been taking a psychology class my freshman year and have become interested in neuroscience. I am currently a forensic biology major and i still really have a passion for that field. I have also been thinking about going pre-med and i realize i can major in either with pre-med. My only problem is that I am having trouble deciding between neuroscience and forensics. I like neuroscience because i find the brain to be very fascinating and it is just a very interesting subject for me. I got into forensics mainly because of crime shows but that is not why i want it as a career. I would like the satisfaction of helping victims find there perpetrator and it all still seems very interesting to me after doing some research. I need some help in deciding between these 2. I am still not certain about medical school but i don't want to start preparing too late. Please do not say anything about pay because i honestly don't care about how much money i make. i only care about loving what i do.

In cognizance of our looming economic condition I would highly suggest that you select a skill-based major… fact-based disciplines can be especially restraining to both personal and professional satisfaction — pick a field that gives you the most appealing leverage; fostering your ability to think critically and judge rationally when placed in a position vital to such assets … regardless of whether its forensic pharmacology, criminological theory and/or trauma-focused psychotherapy — you are bound to discover something to which bolsters your interest in a nurturing, enriching scope
