deciding between majors

i'm an incoming freshman. it may be early, but i want to plan ahead as far as i can so i can take the necessary intro courses as soon as possible. i originally wanted to double major in international relations and econ, but the closest thing my school has to IR is poli sci with an IR concentration. i also want to continue spanish and start french with the ultimate goal of fluency in at least spanish (yes, i know that requires study abroad). i eventually really want to work abroad or for an NGO, something like that, but i'm also interested in business. is poli sci/IR necessary for what i want to do? i feel like the major revolves around domestic politics too much, and i don't really like that. also, after reading a lot, i'm starting to feel like a BA in econ isn't as useful as, say, a stats or math degree, and it's not as quantitative as i'd like. i just want to be as employable as possible.

to sum this up, if my original goal was an IR major, would a major in political science with an IR concentration suffice? and would a degree in math or stats make me more employable than a BA in econ?
