If you are "undecided" about your major, does this affect or hurt your acceptance rate? Or does it really not matter if you choose whatever major?

It doesn't hurt anything. Colleges know that most students change majors at some point.

The only time you would need to state your major is if you're considering something that is a separate school/college within the university--this often/sometimes applies to engineering, architecture, business, and BFA programs in the arts.

I think it's better than to put a high impact major like bio, engineering, psychology, especially when you're not really sure.
