UPENN: joint degree program; will be recieve a BS in Economics from Wharton (concentration in Healthcare Management/Policy), and a BS in Nursing from the School of Nursing. Was also accepted into Benjamin Franklin Scholars (100 freshmen, approx 5% was the statistic used on these boards).

Pros: beautiful campus, amazing job opportunities, very prestigious, Philly!

Reservations: I am really math/science disinclined. No, really. I have no idea how I got into Penn, much less into a joint degree and then the Honors Program. I am frightened of having to take Calc II and tons of math/science courses with people smarter than me. If I get below a 3.4, I get kicked out. Also, due to the nature of my program, I don't have very much flexibility in term of an actual liberal arts education...also, I cannot drop just into Wharton if i feel the Nursing is too much for me to handle, and that's the part I want to do. Basically, I'm intimidated.

NYU: accelerated B.A./M.P.A program (Master's in Public Administration) frmo the Wagner School of Public Service, which is ranked #1 in Healthcare Management and Administration for all grad schools (Harvard is #2)

Pros: Tons of room for liberal arts, would get to major in journalism as well, 20K merit scholarship a year, NYC! Honors Program, would probably do well here, have a high GPA and have a master's degree by the time I'm 21!

Cons: no campus, not as..."prestigious," note the quotes.

Help?
Other choices are Northwestern, Hopkins, Barnard, and Wellesley. No matter where I go, I have a guaranteed transfer to Cornell, but would really rather not play that game. For the record, my first choice was Brown, so I am definitely into having freedom of curriculum...however, they are both such amazing opportunities I have no idea which one. Visiting both this upcoming weekend/Monday
