Deciding on whether to go to Milton or not

I was accepted to Milton Academy, but im not sure whether I should go or not. If i go then that will be the end of my family life i guess but if i don't go then I'll regret my decision and start questioning it in the future. Any suggestions or comments??

Didn’t the deadline to accept your spot already pass?

“The end of my family life” is really stretching it. You’ll always be keeping in touch with your family, and after being away so much, your vacations back home will be a lot more meaningful. You worked hard for this - personally, I think you shouldn’t pass this chance. And if you go to Milton and after a few months or a year don’t think it’s right for you, you can still come home.

I agree with Dapple. This is the opportunity of a lifetime and in my opinion you should give it a try! And it’s not like you’re stuck there. If you end up hating the school you can always leave.

But it’s entirely your choice, so good luck with whatever happens!

I say…go!!!

You spent so much time on your app and finally got in! You know you deserve this and Milton will provide amazing oppotunities!

Btw, she’s international. It’s always hard to say goodbye to families. But it’s what you need to grow up.

Good luck!

This is silly…if you were to go, Milton should have received your contract YESTERDAY! That means deciding on the 8th and mailing it in on the 9th! It’s too late now, might as well terminate this thread. A prestigious school like Milton will likely have already given your spot to a rabid wait listed student.
If it had been posted a week ago, I would have said, “GO!” and pushed you out the door.

Feifei could have been a waitlisted applicant that had been taken off of the waitling list, though, and if s/he was, then the acceptance materials wouldn’t be due in until a later date.
