If you’re coming for “Decision Day” on April 12, be sure to check out the Band-uh! We’ll be performing in front of the ARC at around noon for about a half an hour. I promise you’ll enjoy it… we’re really entertaining!

Seriously, don’t miss it.

(There’s also a Decision Day on April 18 but we’re not playing at that one because we’ll be practicing for Picnic Day, which is the next day - Sat. April 19.)

is rsvp required or can we just show up?

Srry haven't been paying too much to Davis as of late..
Dx

Same day as UCSB's visiting day. I guess they all can't coordinate their days. Too bad.

I can't remember if you have to RSVP for Decision Day... I think you're supposed to, but as far as I can remember you don't really need to. I think they just like to know how many people are coming so they have enough tour guides and stuff like that.

you have to register and registration is now full.

I am sorry I can't tell you much about UC Davis because I was only there for considerably short period of time. I only got to visit housing at Tercero, said hello to the cows and went back to the pavillion. Overall though, I was amazed at how big UC Davis is. Also, the atmosphere there was relaxing, the people I met there were very nice.
Too bad it was so hot yesterday, I just didn't feel like taking a tour around that HUGE campus.

librahoney08,

it was awesome. from the tour to the dining commons to the nice campus.. it was all awesome. anything particular you want to know about?

thanks dmission and minilemon , i just wanted 2 know the overrall feel of the campus and do the ppl seem friendky and open? thanks

Definitely. From the very beginning with our tour guide I could tell it was going to be awesome. :)
Everyone is really nice and friendly

HAHA, I saw the band when I was heading over to the ARC... and yes, it was very entertaining! Props! :]

I went to Decision Davis, and I can say that I love UC Davis! Officially. 'Tis awesomeness. The campus is gorgeous, and I can totally see myself there...

But I haven't made my decision yet, as I still have to visit the other UC campuses. I have a feeling, though, that I'm probably not going to like LA or Berkeley as much... maybe SD. :]

Okay I'm from San Diego and let me just say that UCSD is so overrated. I don't think the campus looks nice at all. It's right next to the beach if that's your cup of tea, but other than that I much prefer Davis.

hey guys! unfortunately, i didnt sign up soon enough for decision day on the 18th, so ill be doing the picnic day thing, which im sure will be great too.

but.. do you think theres anything you guys could fill me in on? hows the housing in cuarto/segundo? i know tercero pretty well from a summer program, but im intersted in the others! also, did it seem like the students were doing lots of fun things? campus-life is really important to me.

suturoberri, im totally in the same boat as you. im kinda shying away from la and berkeley, and i thought sd was for me but ive heard some pretty bad stories about the atmosphere there. whats factoring into your decision?

I can tell you that the dorms were great. Especially cuarto. The DC there is awesome. I'm sure you'll love picnic day, too. let me know if you any other questions in particular.

(Yes, I'd say D does have a better campus life.)
