Decision LETTER

there's really no telling what happened. i'm completely disillusioned with the place already.
if they did mail out on the 26th, then they should have reached you. did you receive word from any other place in the same area? if so, do you know how long your mail takes?
my best opinion would say that they didn't really get them in the mail until the 27th or 28th.

boo, I didn't get my letter in the mail either. But the website said they sent it on the 27th so hopefully I'll get it monday.

i got waitlisted by ND today.. it was posted on the 27th.. I got accepted by USC on the 27th it was dated the 25th.. So 2 days.. I live in michigan

in the last 4 days, i've heard back from 3 places.. this is like the end.. scary

yeah, CMU is just bogged down mail-wise or something. I expect to see it online before getting it in the mail. Frankly, I believe the whole "we-hope-you-get-your-letter-first" idea is bogus.
@JamiexAi: did the website actually list the letter in Admissions Documents Sent? but this was only after it actually listed your decision, correct? (and was it the blank line filled in?)

i rather get it in the mail than see it online.. i think it's so classic and traditional to wait for this envelope shin-dig.. it's cute..

IF it's an acceptance. i think Stanford did it smartly... rejection online, acceptance in the mail (after online, of course). I'm most familiar with the former option. they gave two reasons, one, it's bad news anyway and who wants to read it over again, and two, it saves the environment. like sending a giant package of stuff to the acceptees is any better?

does anyone else have a blank "decision" box?? or is it just blank line...

OOOHHH.. that is smart.. you're right, i did not like reading my rice rejection twice.. they e-mail me and snail mailed it.. and you could've checked it online but do i really want to see it for a third time? not really

i have blank line and blank box

blank box and line? wow...

the question should be, when you get your DECISION box filled in - accept, waitlist, or reject - does the blank line get filled in?
either it never gets filled in, or it gets filled in ALONG WITH your decision.

the blank line????

well.. we'll see in less than 2 hours

............

i don't want to wait any longer

i'm only writing stuff here is so i get the most update info for my friend...who's dieing to get into tsb...

aww that's nice.. no one really talks about cc where i'm from.. but i do know one kid who graduated last year who's on it

lol i know multiple kids haha

its def on the DL... i think if people knew i was this obsessive, i wouldn't have many friends

I was accepted and my blank line is still blank.

ohh.. what day did you blank line?
