Decision made as of 2/6

PSU have rolling admission or something?

yes they do ;)

That's great. Now I must work on my SAT (2 hrs prep starting tomrorow for 1 whole month!).

i didn't do great on my verbal-610 but i feel i improved a lot in Math by practicing if it is any help. Mid way in sophomore year i was pulling 540s on the Psat and **** and it made me mad. I started practicing on my own and in a year of just taking a lot of sections i ended with a 770 and only missed 1 question. I guess for me practice made perfect. There is only a certain amount of different types of questions they can ask.

Mine was also processed on 2/6, but I still haven't recieved a reply.

really i wish all those who got decisions processed good luck. Come back right away when you get your answers and post up.

Just checked mail, still nothing. Should I give them a call?

no there was just a SNOW STORM. They reached a decision only a week ago. The mail might have gone out a couple days later and the snow may have postponed it further.

You could call them. It is possible that they might give you your answer over the phone if you ask. Many schools don't but this is a rolling school so they might. Just don't go crazy on the phone if they let you in and don't cry if they don't let you in. lol. Well you could make them feel bad ;)

Has anyone called and got their decision over the phone?

nope they dont let you

anyonne get answers yet?

I still haven't received anything and don't bother calling, they won't tell you over the phone. The woman on the phone said that it could be anywhere from a 10 to 14 day wait...14 days! O_O my "max" day is next Monday, Feb. 20. sigh

wow i turned it in priority and they made a decision and had the answer at my house in under 10 days.

argh. I really should have applied for the nov. date. :P
But I'm happy with my good news from UIUC... :)

:( I got my package today, but it's Altoona and not UP. My parents were like if it's not UP, then no PSU. :X

My friend got the same reply. DO you think people whos decisons were made on the 6th all were defered to Altoona?

No, I don't. i think the 6th was just a big admission day. Maybe those who were on the bubble were kept till then. It is possible that a lot of those on the bubble will not get in but still they may have some students who just got in.

Sorry to hear that lovejini. You can always transfer over. Your parents said that if it isn't UP it isn't PSU so where do you think you will be headed?

Sympathy, I hope you get your answer soon and it is a good one.

Cheapseats,
I applied to many colleges so I'm not sure yet. The only schools I hear early from were UIUC and PSU, which was a yes and a yes (:(), but my parents are shooting for in state schools (I'm a northern Virginian). So ideally, perhaps UVA?

Haha rejected from UP. They offered me a place in another campus though. Can anyone suggest which I should look into if I plan to major in business?

Thanks.

Oh btw lovejini, I think UIUC is a great choice.

Sympathy, if you don't mind, what are your stats?
