You’ve got great options man! Way to stay optimistic.

I can’t believe I’ve been trying to get in for an hour and 20 minutes. I should be doing homework I’m backed up on considering the quarter ends in two days, but I know I can’t do that with Duke still pending (even though I’m almost 100% certain I’m rejected).

Rejected. Pretty upset; showed so much interest and really thought I could have had something, like a waitlist offer or something. Makes you wonder how this whole ***** system works. Went 0 for 4 today, woohooo…

I must say though that Duke’s rejection letter was extremely encouraging and upbeat. Guttentag went to great lengths to explain to us the difficulty of the process and what went on. I really appreciate how he came out and explained everything. Easily the best rejection letter I received.

Congrats to all those accepted! To all those rejected - we gave it our best effort, and at least we tried. Good luck to you all for the next four years! Peace.

my sister just got accepted
congrats to all~

Rejected by Duke Yale and Stanford today, greatt day. But full ride at Vanderbilt and accepted at USC but still waiting to hear about financials. Congratsss to the new blue devils! Wish I was in that boat instead…

Rejected by every Ivy I applied to today and waitlisted at Duke. It’s pretty much my last hope now. Does anyone know how many people get waitlisted per year?

Got in! Happiest DAy of my life

@mathematicism I seem to recall reading 3800 somewhere, but the FAQ said only around 1000 choose to stay on the waitlist every year, with at least 75 spots becoming available in the last several years.

Thanks for the info. That actually sounds more promising than most waitlists.

Soooo excited…

So…after waiting almost an hour for the stupid page to load, after being rejected from UPenn and Princeton at 4:00 (central time), after countless tries to get into the website, I was finally greeted by: “It is with the greatest regret that…” and so on.

This sucks. :(

@thankyou4flying, I do concur on that point, easily the best rejection letter ever.

Congrats to all you Blue Devils. DS got a wait list. Duke was a top choice for him. But the gods smiled on him and he was accepted to Princeton–only Ivy he applied to. So who knows what those ADCOM’s see or don’t see in each application.
