Decisions are already mailed today

It's so ironic that international should be thanking themselves being in a foreign country as they can get results earlier than the Americans.

Is it really true that they are mailing today, NJ gets them tomorrow? Sorry but I have heard everything and anything imaginable, u never know what's true, can that be corroborated?

Skees, I think you are correct. She said they will be processed tonight. That's why they wanted them on the 5 pm truck - so that the letters could actually go out tonight.

She described in great detail how everyone in the admissions office is carrying the letters to the truck this afternoon, herself included. Sounded pretty absolute.

this is just...bah....I really need to study for the 4 finals I have this week but I just can't concentrate :(

Greco, you will get your letter tomorrow.

good luck to all NJers/NYCers and other people in vicinity....you will get your acceptances TOMORROW!!!

uncertainity still lingers over Northern VA/DC/MD....could be tomorrow or could be Thursday!

i just called usps and asked them how long for a 37 cent postage to get from pton to nyc and they said that for anywhere within the USA generally its 1 - 3 days.....................but, because of the holiday season and the massive influx of mail around this time of year, the guy from USPS said "those estimates are wayyyyyyyyy off." and it could take alot longer. OH NO!!!

We can still call on Friday though, so maybe that might happen.. though I would just wait for the letter. I like the same envelope letter idea. I get to postpone the inevitable pain for a brief moment.

I also just called...

I asked for from Princeton to Frederick, MD 21702 (Frederick is about 1 hour west from Baltimore, 6 hours away from Princeton).

She said on thursday, latest Saturday

I'm really iffy about this whole "no packets" thing. It seems like the admissions office could just be saying that as a 'cover up'. They've done this for years and years, as do all the other universities; they make the packets ahead of time, slip in the pertinent info to each student, and mail it out. What makes this year so much different that they'd send out only thin letters? It seems like every admissions employee tells callers something different...

i really do believe they feel behind though...and i wouldnt doubt the thin letters

so are these right: acceptance letter = two pages (one letter + one financial aid) // rejection/deferral letter = one page --> both sent by regular size envelope?

it depends if you asked for fin. aid, I think. What's the point of speculating now when the letters' arrivals are LOOMING....soooo scared.....though speculating does pass the time, I guess, or else most of us wouldn't be on this site! :)

^^zen zen. it doespass time ne.

Pton acceptance + the WORST thing I ever have + all the B's I have this semester + the break up with my girlfriend = the HAPPIEST THING IN THE WORLD

Pton rejection + $1,000,000 lottery + a race car + straight A's in high school + a new laptop + $20 per hour work wage = PLEASE KILL ME NOW!

i hope Pton2b gets in.
