Decisions are out...

I got rejected.

Dear Richard:

The Yale Admissions Committee has completed its review of this year's freshman candidates, and I am sorry to tell you that we are not able to offer you a place in the class of 2009.

blah blah et cetera

I extend my good wishes to you for a happy and successful college career. Thank you for your interest in Yale.

Richard H. Shaw

Sorry to hear that, good luck with your other colleges.

Was that an email or was it on the site?

how did you find out? I'm having massive problems checking online.

I was waitlisted. Should I even bother? Or just give up on Yale?

it seems like decisions went online at exactly 6:00 PM instead of 5:00.

I can't access my account! Would someone please instruct me on how to check my decision online?

http://www.yale.edu/admit/news/regular.html

go to the link and click online decisions
Bes of Luck!

Thanks...didn't get in though.

I can't access my account! UGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

I activated my account like a month ago when they asked, and created my username and password. Now when I go to the decision site they are asking me to activate my account! There's nowhere to just log in... and when I try to activate it again with the PIN I was sent originally, they say that either the PIN or my DOB is invalid. Obviously, I'm not typing in my DOB wring every time.

Will someone let me know if they're having the same problem? And if anyone has advice, feel free to give me some!!!

Once you activated your acct, re-doing it is not going to work.
You should just be able to go to online decision website, & try logging in!
Best of luck!
