Is there a diff b/w priority waitlisted and waitlisted or are they both the same thing?

I was "conditionally accepted" also and I got mail today saying it was because they wanted me to take a high school level physics class and get a B or better. I had opted for macroeconomics instead, so if I attend I will have to take one over the summer.

I was accepted to RPI's accelerated law/tech program. I wonder if it would be possible to transfer over to general admission. Opens up another option though ;).

Quick stats:
SAT: 2200/2400
GPA: 4.2 ish weighted
ECs: umm lots of band stuff :p

I'm a female too, if that makes a difference. I think RPI's gender ratio has a higher male side so it might have been easier for me to get in.

Yeah...definitely higher lol. This 2007 college book posts it as 25/75 for female/male. So any rejected or wait listed males don't feel so bad....you have it much harder.

dorkdorkdork - An adcom told me last week that there WAS a difference. I think if you're interested in having your status changed, show them a little love...

Thanks woody!

Does anyone know if the priority waitlist is binding?

I am pretty sure it is not binding.

i would assume so as well....as long as they do not make you sign, i believe it is non-binding (they make you sign a early decision form that binds you in ED applications)

tee hee, loved the song loops that play on the acceptance stuff online XD
