Was accepted at UVA, Vanderbilt, and Emory
I know all of the stats on each one, but could someone give me other type of
information which could guide me on my decision? Information which may not appear on the stats.

I can't say a ton, but UVA and Vandy both have bigtime sports while Emory does not. I don't know a lot about Emory, but my brother attends UVA and I have a few friends at Vanderbilt. Both are beautiful campuses and have big (not huge) greek life and social scenes. Vanderbilt and Emory are in larger cities so there is a little bit more to do off campus, but UVA has tons to offer and you would never be bored. Hmm....that wasn't very helpful. Sorry.

Emory is more liberal while UVA and Vandy are more conservative / preppy.
Emory student body would be a notch stronger academically.

Emory does poorly in the Revealed Preference rankings and tracks interests with applicants -- likely because many people use it as a safety school. Vanderbilt and UVA conversely have much more tradition and school spirit on campus.

UVA and Vanderbilt are generally WASPy with better on-campus parties. Emory tends to attract students from upper-middle class Jewish communities on Long Island.

Student quality will be virtually identical.
