<p>Hi folks. I am currently an international student attending <em>cough</em> <em>cough</em> De*ry University and as you might think I am not completely satisfied with the educational environment and the fact that my brain is not being challenged anymore (Don't get me wrong though, some of the teachers that I had the pleasure to work with were completely amazing). So that is why I came to the conclusion that if I want a brighter future I'll need to find a better institution.<br>
My major is Computer Science and I thought of switching it for Computer Engineering, but this is something I'll try to decide myself. Anyways my major is concentrated in the IT field and as such I was wondering which of these two universities would be a better choice for me. I found the 2007 rankings for UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) which are: 58th in computer science and 54th in computer engineering; however I have no records for IIT (Illinois Institute of Technology).
I knew that in here I would find a really friendly and highly educated community and that is why I am sincerely asking you for your help in this dilemma.

<p>Tough decision, from what I've heard, UIC is holistically a better and more well-known school, however, IIT is ranked 96th in USNews plus might be better for your major.</p>
