Decisions Mailed

loll thatd be hilarious if you could actually look it up…hmm I wonder what a shipping reference is lol

would ups reach the mid-atlantic states by tomorrow? and before 5pm?

You call them and ask if you have a package waiting for you (give them your name and address)… duh…

^^ so has anyone called yet? lol

Type in “D” in shipping reference, along with USA and your zip code. Your should be able to get the tracking code. Do not know if “D” stands for “Decision” or “Denied”. If package weighs 1 pound is that too light for an acceptance?

Some of them ARE students. Work-study students work in the admissions office as well; they dont’ make decisions or anything, but they sort paperwork and whatnot.

rubin95, why “D” as reference?

Tried all different combinations of letters, such as “Columbia2014” . Then i just typed in “D” and I got a tracking number

I’d be way too scared to call them lol. but someone should try that haha

doubt it would work.

and how’d you come up with “d” anyways?

… What if they don’t put references? ;)

rubin: Nice. Does it say the package is coming from New York, though? While this would be a very sneaky way to find out if you were accepted, I don’t think it works.

By the way, I got a tracking code with this method!!

If it says there is no package, does that mean rejection?

Pretty sure this doesn’t work. I received a package from UPS tonight and tried tracking that through the UPS Reference site and it lists nothing.

wow I tried some zip codes around mine and I found some tracking codes…but I tried mine and I didn’t get any…

this is not a good sign lol. alisafran i hope you’re right lol!

Me too, hardworker :(

lol theres no way we can track our package lol

“D” seems to be random. However, if someone wants to call into UPS right now and see if they a package coming to their address from NYC, we may get more solid results…

how does this work if ur not from usa

Doing it! :)
