<p>Last year, decisions were released on Friday, March 19. Any news on whether it will be the same this year?</p>
<p>I want to know this too…I’ve heard from unreliable sources that D-day is Apr 1st this year. Anyone?</p>

<p>Perhaps the April 1 information is less than accurate? I’m really hoping for a decision a week from tomorrow (a week from tomorrow is a nice phrase to be able to say 
). At the very worst, we have 2.5 weeks left…</p>
<p>Here is the pattern from the past three years re: UChicago decision notification dates:
2010 – 3/19
2009 – 3/25 (about 1 PM cc time)
2008 – 3/19
Even though officially the date is always “by April 1,” typically the actual decision notification is earlier. The hard part is that you won’t know until a day or so in advance, by checking the Uncommon Blog:<br>

<p>They get posted when they’re done, and that is literally all there is to it. They don’t have a date when they know that they’re going to release them. You are not going to believe me, because you’re going to put your faith into what you hear from whatever random person on the internet that gives you a semi-plausible date from a “reliable source” that is relatively soon. But you’re still wrong. The admissions department will tell you when you’ll get your decision, and they’ll do that when they know they’ll be done at that time. No one else knows, and any “current student” that says they know when it will be is full of ****.</p>
<p>Haha I got into WUSTL, that thread was pretty epic, I doubt this thread will be as bad cus I bet it will be for sure to be on a Friday.</p>
