"Decisions will be mailed out the first week of April"

I called the admission office yesterday to enquire about Princeton's policy of sending email notifications to international students. The lady who answered the phone said she didn't understand where I heard that. I had sent an email asking them to send me my decision by email but did not receive a reply. I guess I'll just have to wait for the snail mail like you guys in the U.S.

Anyhow, I asked when the decisions will be mailed out. She said "they should be mailed out during the first week of April."

This means that decisions will not be mailed until April 3. So we aren't going to receive anything from Princeton on April 1 or April 2 like some suggested. HTH.

Admissions have been known to spread misinformation. Maybe they'll mail out on March 30th afterall. Maybe not. In another thread I mentioned how my interviewer told me letters would come out the second week of April, but he also told me they would be sent out on the common Ivy release date (3/30). This is pretty confusing.

for ED....intl's were e-mailed....i do not know if this applies for RD, but USA applicants should get it by 4/3 i assume...

Do you think it might be possible for internationals to get their emails on the 30th?

Princeton mailed their stuff yesterday, the 29th (look at all the recent thread titles).
