I don't have it either.... I'm not surprised that I haven't gotten it by mail yet, but it should at least be online.

My friend called Penn and found out that the PIN's are being mailed on a rolling basis, and were not mailed all at once. They told my friend to call by 12/1 if she hasn't received a PIN.

i guess they dont want to flood the mail all at once

DARN! I was hoping that my early letter was a sign that they liked me and would accept me.

I just called my regional rep. and the guy said "you should receive it later this week or early next week."

Referring to a previous post, mailed on a "rolling basis"!!!!!
Uh oh, do you think being auto-admit or auto-reject have anything to do with it?

I DARE somebody to call the admission office and ask them whether the order they send out the PIN letters have anything to do with actual decisions!!
I'll do it myself if nobody else wants to .....

They will never tell you one way or the other, so there's no point in asking your question, getcrunk. But, it doesn't hurt to try. Just don't give your name do you don't appear dumb.

no harm in trying. just dont say ur name, and even if u did, lol, theyd just laugh. but we are all interested!

Well, I tried calling, but this one guy picked up who seemed confused when I asked him. I guess he was a student at Penn, because all he could say was, "Yes. We have sent out the PIN letters." So I figured he didn't know any insider secrets, so I just thanked him and hung up.

But I was looking through last year posts and I found two people who got their PIN's the same day. One was accepted; the other rejected. So I guess, maybe it doesn't make much difference.

getcrunk123 you have 100 posts yay :) lol

oh yea, sweet

Oh damn, now I have 101!

I got mey letter on the outside of the envelope it says
"Important Do not Disgard This Letter"
It also came with another letter in another envelope with fin. aid due dates. ( My dad is very slow) We wont get it anyway.

Wait a second!!!!!!!!!!
PennHunter, you got another letter saying you're missing financial aid forms??
I don't think anybody else got a similar letter. I've heard that if they ask for fin.aid forms this late, they might be needing it to determine an award.

ya i heard that if they ask for financial aid stuff that means taht they accepted you so they need the info so they can have some sort of plan ready for you

Did anyone else receive fin aid stuff with their pin? I have still not gotten it yet by mail.

Do you think they have already made decisions this early to ask for financial aid forms?

They also called my dad and said they needed him to hurry up with some of the forms. There is no way I got an award!

the fin. aid people are very helpful. You will have some sort of info presented to you on the 14th with your decision.

dude, sounds like you are admited! :)

why would you think that?
dont they want that info from everyone

They only use fin aid info if you are admitted. Why would they give out fin aid statements to rejects?
