oy guys don't be nervous - we'll be FINE!
actually, I was pretty ****ed together because I thought I was the only one who applied to Penn early, but turns out another girl (who's Legacy) applied to Penn ... Wharton nonetheless! Same college, same school!
Argh!

But I'm still calm. At least, trying to be.

i FINALLY got my letter!! feelin kinda special cuz it talks about housing and financial aid and stuff - exciting, no? =)

So are all the pin letters that same? or different?

if theyre one sheet, theyre all the same.

I still didn't get it yet and I'm assuming Wharton411 didn't get it yet...
That's weird. I guess the different regional administrators simply mail them out at different times.

My school seems to be receiving them in alphabetical order.

I don't think it's alphabetical order because my last name begins with C, and I didn't get my letter until this week.

Ugh.
The other kid from my school who is applying to Penn ED just got his November SAT scores, and he improved by over 100 points to a 2260.
I have a 2330, but his rank is 8th and I'm 13th (1.3% difference).

He's applying to Wharton, and I'm applying to the College. I just pray that I still have the upper hand and his big score increase won't really impact my own chances.

He also got a 730 on Math Level 2, so I'm not sure where that puts him for Wharton.

dont compare between schools - its totally different.

my sal is doing wharton ed while im doing cas ed. im not even close to caring about it tho. unless we both get in which would be pretty cool.

You are worried? A ridiculous number of people apply from my school. Don't worry about the competition from your school. You have some 4000+ other kids from around the world to worry about.

i got a letter in the mail asking me about financial aid stuff, didnt have any pin number though. its driving me craaaaaaaaaaazy

Yeah Im kinda perturbed that I havent gotten the PIN letter yet. I have the PIN cause I did the lost PIN thing online. I hope that didnt jinx me.

I need in the words of Addison Montegomery Shepard some "good juju"

MY last name starts with "F" and I received my PIN in the mail last Friday (day after THanksgiving). Yes, it was really special because it talked about housing. I hope the letter isn't a tease.

I want my letter so bad now!

I dont understand the adcom sometimes. Why send out the pins on a rolling basis?

Can someone type up the letter and post it? From the posts, it sounds like a "hidden" likely letter.

Wharton either they dont like either of us or the DFW people are forced to bite their fingernails in waiting.

Is there such a thing as a "Likely Letter" for ED applicants? I hope so!

TDeucez: Hopefully, we will get it tomorrow!

What's DFW?

dallas/fort worth (cities in texas)

exact copy of the letter recieved today.. maybe this will relieve the stress or intensify it...idk..
